Sex fällt mit unserem Sein zusammen. Der sexuelle Akt gilt als intim und lässt zugleich das Öffentliche im persönlichen Raum kulminieren: als singuläre Ausformulierung und Aktualisierung von Politik, als Kommunikation, als Austragungsort von Lust und Fantasie, Reproduktion und Gewalt.

This work is discussed in the interview with the artist conducted by the curator of the exhibition within the context of Decristoforo’s oeuvre. The discussion also focuses on the exhibition and its question of the extent to which SEX, as an ontological category, permits us to conceive of a policy of amalgamation that overcomes the limits of dualistic concepts and makes room for other economic models.

A special non-place in Austria - it forms the intersection of two of the country's busiest motorways. Due to the surrounding high noise barriers this place is inaccessible. In summer 2016 a group of artists visited the place to build the "Skulpturenpark Westautobahn".

Since November 2010, the city of Innsbruck has continuously purchased works of art from Tyrolean artists, which are proposed by a changing jury of experts. For the first time, these works of art from the purchase years 2010 to 2015 will be presented to the public in a comprehensive exhibition. The exhibition was curated by the respective jury teams.
